It was great to catch up with Julia, Steve, Tom and other Coventry members to campaign for Andy Street, the legendary Mayor for the West Midlands. He has achieved so much for Coventry, including:
- Bringing back the Sky Blues to the CBS Arena
- Investing over £140m into the city centre and City of Culture
- Turning Coventry into the all-electric bus city
- Training over 135,000 people across the West Midlands in just 2 years
Andy has more to do, which is why he has a plan to keep putting the West Midlands first by:
- Delivering the 2040 transport Plan
- Building the homes we need while protecting the Greenbelt
- Creating jobs and opportunities for everyone
- Making the region safer
- Retoring pride in town and city centres
- Reducing energy bills and tackling climate change
These are vital elections, and it is vital that all Andy's supporters back him in big numbers on 2 May to stop bankrupt Birmingham City Council taking control of the West Midlands. It is a pleasure and a privilege to continue to support and campaign for Andy.
