As Deputy Leader of Sevenoaks District Council I led the council's revolutionary housing and health strategy which was all about preventing people from getting ill and living independently for as long as possible. Our work and achievements were recognised by us winning many health and care awards - which for a distruct council who is not meant to do health and care was a staggering achievement.
