In October 2014 I was selected as the Parliamentary Candidate to fight Coventry North East at the 2015 General Election and on the strength of my performance was invited back to fight the target seat of Coventry South in 2017. I raised enough money to pay for both campaigns, took part in tough media interviews against senior opposition politicians and increased the Conservative vote in both elections.
